Real-Time Quantitative PCR

In conventional PCR, the amplified DNA product, or amplicon, is analyzed at the end point of the amplification and is often combined with agarose gel electrophoresis. The qPCR technology continuously monitors the change of the fluorescence signal intensity during the PCR amplification process, determines the change of the amount of the amplified product in each cycle in real time, and finally performs quantitative analysis on the sample to be tested through the standard curve and CT value.
