Cat.No.
WALK-2536S
Species
Staphylococcus aureus
Product Name
Recombinant Staphylococcus Aureus WALK Protein (382-600 aa), His-Myc-tagged
Product Overview
Recombinant Staphylococcus Aureus (strain Newman) WALK Protein (382-600 aa) is produced by E. coli expression system. This protein is fused with a 10xHis tag at the N-terminal and a Myc tag at the C-terminal. Protein Description: Partial.
Description
Member of the two-component regulatory system WalK/WalR that regulates genes involved in autolysis, biofilm formation and cell wall metabolism. WalK functions as a sensor protein kinase which is autophosphorylated at a histidine residue and transfers its phosphate group to WalR.
