Cat.No.
HLB-2265S
Species
Staphylococcus aureus
Product Name
Recombinant Staphylococcus Aureus HLB Protein (35-330 aa), His-tagged
Product Overview
Recombinant Staphylococcus Aureus HLB Protein (35-330 aa) is produced by Yeast expression system. This protein is fused with a 10xHis tag at the N-terminal. Protein Description: Full Length of Mature Protein.
Description
Bacterial hemolysins are exotoxins that attack blood cell membranes and cause cell rupture. Beta-hemolysin is a phospholipase C with specific activity toward sphingomyelins. Has a high specificity for sphingomyelin, hydrolyzes lysophosphatidylcholine at a much lower rate, but has no activity towards phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, or phosphatidylserine.
