Cat.No.
nth-989E
Species
E. coli
Product Name
Recombinant E.coli Nth, His-tagged
Product Overview
Recombinant E.coli nth protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coliand purified by using conventional chromatography (1-211aa).
Description
Nth, also known as Endonuclease III, has an apurinic and/or apyrimidinic endonuclease activity and a DNA N-glycosylase activity. This enzyme incises damaged DNA at cytosines, thymines and guanines. Nth acts on a damaged strand, 5" from the damaged site. This enzyme is required for the repair of both oxidative DNA damage and spontaneous mutagenic lesions.
