Cat.No.
ZAPA-1911B
Species
Bacillus Pumilus
Product Name
Recombinant Bacillus Pumilus ZAPA Protein (1-85 aa), His-SUMO-tagged
Product Overview
Recombinant Bacillus Pumilus (strain SAFR-032) ZAPA Protein (1-85 aa) is produced by E. coli expression system. This protein is fused with a 6xHis-SUMO tag at the N-terminal. Protein Description: Full Length.
Description
Activator of cell division through the inhibition of FtsZ GTPase activity, therefore promoting FtsZ assembly into bundles of protofilaments necessary for the formation of the division Z ring. It is recruited early at mid-cell but it is not essential for cell division.
