Mechanism of Action

Galactomyces ferment filtrate is refined by fermentation of Galactomyces, and is rich in proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamins, minerals and amino acids required for skin renewal. It can specifically support the skin's own protection and repair mechanisms to fight against premature skin aging. Specific ingredients in the filtrate can increase the expression of filaggrin and prevent the reduction of filaggrin mediated by serine protein tyrosine. At the same time, it can increase the expression of caspase-14 in epidermal keratinocytes in 3D models and improve the barrier function of the skin. The filtrate is weakly acidic and can enhance the antibacterial effect of sebum outside the stratum corneum, remove dead cells (exfoliation) but not excessively remove dead skin, and maintain delicate and smooth skin. It can also maintain the water content of the stratum corneum, thereby maintaining skin elasticity and making the skin hydrated and white. For oily skin, it controls sebum secretion, regulates the balance of oil secretion of the skin, and promotes sebum from the pores to the surface of the skin, thereby inhibiting the formation of acne.
