Product Description
EHP Control Powder is a functional feed-additive premix that mitigates the impact of diseases and parasites in aquaculture. It promotes the growth of beneficial gut microflora while attenuating the virulence of harmful pathogens. The formula incorporates a natural antibacterial complex and the latest technology—quorum-sensing inhibition.
Mode of Action
A. Broad-spectrum microbicide
– Inhibits / kills Vibrio parahaemolyticus (EMS/AHPND strains), V. harveyi, Aeromonas, Streptococcus, etc.
– Synergistic with beneficial bacteria – does not suppress probiotics.
B. Quorum-Sensing inhibition (QS)
– Blocks cell-to-cell signalling that switches on virulence genes.
– Effective at doses far below MIC (verified in vitro vs. V. harveyi & V. parahaemolyticus).
C. Anti-parasitic activity
– Reduces intestinal protozoa:
• Shrimp: Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP), microsporidia.
• Fish: Enteromyxum leei, Myxozoans, Gregarines, Monogenean gill flukes (Microcotyle spp.).
