Cat.No.
ULP1-1571S
Species
Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Product Name
Recombinant S. cerevisiae ULP1 protein
Product Overview
Recombinant protein Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) Ulp1 was expressed in E. coli.
Description
Yeast Ulp1 is a highly active protease which specifically recognizes the tertiary structure of ubiquitin-like protein, SUMO rather than a short sequence as other
commonly used proteases such as Thrombin, TEV, and EK. The protease can be used to cleave the SUMO from recombinant fusion proteins at 30 centigrade or 4 centigrade at pH 7.0-7.9. After digestion, the His-Tagged Ulp1 can be easily removed by His tag affinity chromatography.
